“How big should the cake be?” is the question we answer most at the counter. Here is the short version.

Cake size and servings

Cake weightServes roughlyGood for
500g3–4 peopleA small family or couple
1kg6–8 peopleA family birthday at home
1.5kg9–12 peopleFamily plus a few friends
2kg12–16 peopleA small party or office team
3kg18–24 peopleA bigger party

These are dessert-sized slices. If you have 30 or more guests, a larger custom cake or two cakes in different flavours usually works better than one very big cake.

When to size up

  • The cake is the only dessert.
  • Lots of kids — they come back for seconds.
  • You want leftovers to send home with family.

When to size down

  • There are sweets, ice cream or a dessert counter as well.
  • The party is after a big dinner.
  • It’s a late-night cutting with just the close family.

Just two of you?

Many of our cakes come as a 200g bento cake — plenty for two, and perfect for anniversaries or a quiet birthday.

Ordering

Most ready-made cakes on our eggless cake menu come in 500g and 1kg, and the price updates when you pick a size. For 1.5kg and above, or a special design, use the custom cake form at least 2 days ahead. Planning a bigger get-together? Have a look at our rooftop party hall and catering.
